The XXX Files: Lust In Space (1995) is definitely a porn parody, but parody of what exactly? The X-Files? Lost in Space?

The back cover proclaims, “Ron Jeremy plays Commander Duckbutter, an evil space overlord bent on controlling Earth and becoming the greatest porn producer of all time.” That sounds more like a porn parody of Battlefield Earth.

The babes in silver lamé bikinis and go-go boots are straight out of Star Trek original series.

Let’s just file it under “science fiction” and forge ahead.

The much-anticipated porn parody of The X-Files arrives on Wednesday. New Sensations was originally going to call it The X-Files: A Dark XXX Parody, until lawyers for Twentieth Century Fox fired off a cease-and-desist notice. The porn guys changed the title to The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody but otherwise stuck to their guns.

With red wig in place, pornstar Kimberly Kane looks remarkably like a mid-90s Gillian Anderson. The guy playing fake David Duchovny, not so much.

This is now listed as a Digital Sin release rather than New Sensations. We don’t know why, probably a big conspiracy thing.
