Not surprisingly, pornographers love the story of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. There have been at least four porn parodies over the years.

Back in 1975, the great Harry Reems starred in The Erotic Dr. Jekyll, directed by Victor Milt, also starring Bree Anthony, Bobby Astyr, Zebedy Colt and Terri Hall. If you dig classic 70s porn, you shouldn’t miss this one.

In 1990, Ashyln Gere starred in Dr. Jeckel and Ms. Hide. The back cover explains (spoiler alert): “Ashlyn Gere is the very famous scientist whose experiments into what stimulates the depths of human depravity unleash a monster who’s sexual longings not even she can rein in.” Also starring Mike Horner, Celia Young, Madison Stone, Champagne, Peter North and Randy West.

In 2000, Paul Thomas directed Jekyll & Hyde for Vivid. It was a vehicle for contract starlet Taylor Hayes, and if you squint you can see the lame tagline “The story of Dr Jekyll & Mrs Hayes”.

Seduction Cinema made a softcore porn parody entitled Dr. Jekyll And Mistress Hyde in 2003, directed by Tony Marsiglia and starring Misty Mundae (yum) and Julian Wells.

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Seduction Cinema, maker of campy softcore porn parodies. Now they have packaged four long out-of-print titles in a DVD box set: Seduction Cinema Late Nite TV Sexy Spoof Collection. Oh yeah.

The sexploitation goofballs at Seduction Cinema took on Batman, specifically 2008 megahit The Dark Knight, in their campy softcore porn parody BatBabe: The Dark Nightie.

Darian Caine plays billionaire stripper/strip club mogul Wendy Wane. By night she prowls Bacchum City as her alter ego BatBabe, “a voluptuous vigilante who takes a bite out of crime and even bigger bite out of naughty females lucky enough to cross her path”. When psycho supercriminal The Jerker threatens to steal Bacchum’s entire porn suppy, Batbabe has to save the day.

We’re counting down the days til Iron Man 2 hits theaters (46, fyi). Campy softcore studio Seduction Cinema riffed on the first Iron Man with softcore porn parody The Insatiable Ironbabe. Boobs, butts, bush, corny jokes and cheesy special effects — what’s not to love?

Softcore porn parody studio Seduction Cinema made Kinky Kong for approximately 1/10,000^th the budget of Peter Jackson’s bloated King Kong remake. Bare breasts and fart jokes are cheap.

I love Seduction Cinema and softcore superstar Misty Mundae. In Erotic Werewolf in London, the moon is irrelevant; Misty Mundae becomes a werewolf when she reaches orgasm. The box cover promises a “softcore horror film that’s loaded with full-frontal female nudity and lesbian sex”.

The Tomb Raider videogames and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movies did not generate as many porn parodies as one would expect. The most famous knockoff title was Womb Raider. This was not hardcore porn, rather a campy softcore parody from a studio called Cyberscan.

Cyberscan used a different, less exciting box cover for the “special edition” release of Womb Raider. Why make Lara Croft porn, then crop off her legendary boobs on the box cover?

Seduction Cinema, a more famous studio making these sorts of campy softcore porn parodies, released Mummy Raider with the heavenly Misty Mundae, combining elements of Tomb Raider and The Mummy.

The hardcore porn industry took one big XXX stab at Tomb Raider with Jewel Raider in 2001. This title is sadly out-of-print. It’s not even available for video-on-demand viewing, which is unusual. However, you can watch a long fight scene from Jewel Raider at YouTube.

Two porn studios used the titles Womb Raider and Womb Raiders for generic XXX compilation DVDs. These were title-only parodies, which don’t really count in my book.
