British studio Relish released the porn parody Scream XXX last month. The DVD didn’t get a North America release, but our online theater has it available for streaming or download.

Not surprisingly, pornographers love the story of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. There have been at least four porn parodies over the years.

Back in 1975, the great Harry Reems starred in The Erotic Dr. Jekyll, directed by Victor Milt, also starring Bree Anthony, Bobby Astyr, Zebedy Colt and Terri Hall. If you dig classic 70s porn, you shouldn’t miss this one.

In 1990, Ashyln Gere starred in Dr. Jeckel and Ms. Hide. The back cover explains (spoiler alert): “Ashlyn Gere is the very famous scientist whose experiments into what stimulates the depths of human depravity unleash a monster who’s sexual longings not even she can rein in.” Also starring Mike Horner, Celia Young, Madison Stone, Champagne, Peter North and Randy West.

In 2000, Paul Thomas directed Jekyll & Hyde for Vivid. It was a vehicle for contract starlet Taylor Hayes, and if you squint you can see the lame tagline “The story of Dr Jekyll & Mrs Hayes”.

Seduction Cinema made a softcore porn parody entitled Dr. Jekyll And Mistress Hyde in 2003, directed by Tony Marsiglia and starring Misty Mundae (yum) and Julian Wells.

Evil Angel has reissued the 1990 porn parody Ghostlusters on DVD.

The all-girl cast includes Victoria Paris, Cheri Taylor, Tianna, Bionca, Lauren Hall and Rene Foxxe. Directed by Bruce Seven, a big name in fetish and girl-girl smut back in the day.

A Usenet review from 1995 explained (spoiler alert!), “Paris and Bionca are making a porn film, and Paris is worried about a ‘ghost’ of a previous performer who supposedly haunts the set.” The reviewer gave it 3½ stars for “excellent camerawork, good sound and lighting, and even a good soundtrack that matched-up with the action. Oh yeah, the performers, especially Paris, sizzle!”

Halloween porn parody season is in full swing. Hustler presents This Ain’t Dracula XXX, directed by the magnificent Axel Braun. (Releasing 10/5, pre-orders open.)

If you have your own special glasses handy, there’s an alternate YouTube trailer in 3-D. The DVD release includes both 3-D and normal 2-D versions on separate discs.

The case includes Jessi Palmer, Marie McCray, Krissy Lynn, Jennifer Dark, Bridgette B, Brandy Aniston, Evan Stone (as Count Dracula) and Tom Byron (as Renfield).

The Blair Witch Project: A Hardcore Parody showed up in stores yesterday. It was originally on the release schedule for April, then disappeared completely, then suddenly emerged after five lost months. Spooky.

The YouTube trailer posted by director Dick Chibbles looks pretty good.

Stars include Britney Amber, Brandy Aniston, Daisy Layne and Nikki Daniels. Porn parody-themed Halloween parties will have a bunch of options this year.

Porn parody director extraordinaire Lee Roy Myers riffs on a horror classic in his new flick A Wet Dream on Elm Street. As in the original, Freddy Krueger haunts the dreams of assorted sexy young things.

Horror site Dread Central scored some groovy production stills and a making-of featurette.

Anthony Rosano plays Freddy (with some impressive-by-porn-standards makeup effects). Dreamers include Charley Chase, Sophie Dee, Gracie Glam and Jennifer White and Gisselle Leon.

The studio had previously announced an October 31 release date, but that has been pushed up to September 28, 2011 (pre-orders available now). This makes sense. People need to get this DVD before Halloween so they can screen it at their decadent hipster Halloween parties.

Smash Pictures jumps the gun on spooky season with a porn parody of the John Carpenter classic Halloween, cleverly titled Halloween: XXX Porn Parody.

This is the second big Halloween parody this year. Zero Tolerance dropped Official Halloween Parody in June.

Zero Tolerance jumps the gun with Official Halloween Parody (releasing Tuesday 6/21/2011). Why not wait until October to release this one?
