Yet another American Pie XXX knockoff. Director Martin del Toro specializes in raunchy, messy, extreme gonzo porn, and American Cream Pie is no exception.

Five scenes, each a MFF threesome. If you know what “cream pie” means in porn lingo, you can easily guess how each scene ends.

Porn studio X-Play has successfully registered the word “Not” in porn movie titles as a trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Seriously.

X-Play has produced some of the best-known porn parodies of the last couple years, including Not the Bradys XXX, Not the Cosbys XXX, Not Monday Night Football XXX, Not Married with Children XXX, Not Bewitched XXX and Not Three’s Company XXX. Some were released through Larry Flynt Productions, some through Adam & Eve, but X-Play titles consistently use that Not … XXX format. And now they have an official trademark.

X-Play president Jeff Mullen explains, “We had to gently ask companies over the past year or so not to use the word ‘Not’ in their adult movie titles and a few companies agreed and changed their titles particularly those in the parody arena. However with the proliferation and popularity of the porn parody by so many companies it became more important than ever to protect our ‘Not … XXX’ brand and we now have legal rights to keep others from using the word ‘not’ especially at the beginning of their movie title.”

X-Play specifically objected to Vouyer (sic) Media’s Not Really the Dukes of Hazzard and Burning Angel’s Not Another Porn Movie as examples of other porn studios ripping off their brand.

However, Not Another Porn Movie (2008) predates most of X-Play’s parodies, and the title was clearly a play on the 2001 mainstream flick Not Another Teen Movie.

And is “Not Really …” close enough to “Not … XXX” to make a trademark challenge stick? We’ll find out soon enough, as Vouyer has already announced their new parody project Not Really Taxi, with Ron Jeremy playing the Danny DeVito role.

Jeff Bridges won the Oscar for Best Actor this year for Crazy Heart, which almost makes up for the outrage that he WASN’T EVEN NOMINATED for The Big Lebowski. That true American classic will receive tribute from the porn parody world soon in The Big Lebowski: A XXX Parody from New Sensations. Shooting has finished, and we expect a release date around late April or early May. For now, check out out some stills from the set.

Oscar loser Avatar will get the porn parody treatment from Hustler in This Ain’t Avatar XXX. Director Axel Braun is shooting the film “in 3-D using the most revolutionary, state-of-the-art technology available in film”. We have no idea what this means or whether 3-D even works on TV yet.

Also jumping on the 3-D craze, New Sensations is working on Octopussy 3-D: A XXX Parody . They’ve posted a trailer which works with those old-style cardboard red lens/blue lens 3-D glasses.

Will Ryder is working on Not Charlie’s Angels XXX for X-Play, to be released by Adam & Eve. After an open casting call that drew 130 aspirants, the producers chose established pornstars Bree Olson, Sunny Leone and Andy San Dimas to play the crimefighting trio.

Axel Braun shot Batman XXX: A Porn Parody (based on the 60s TV series) in January, to be released by Vivid this spring. The casting looks great: Nick Manning as Batman, Kris Slater as Robin, Evan Stone as The Riddler, Randy Spears as The Joker, Nicole Ray as Batgirl, and Tori Black as Catwoman. Guitarist Dave Navarro has a (non-sex) cameo. We haven’t heard any news in a while, but this should be huge when it drops.

Alice (soonish), a XXX “re-imagining” of Alice in Wonderland. We figured its release would be timed to coincide with the big Tim Burton/Johnny Depp movie, but so far Alice hasn’t shown up on any release schedules or retailer websites.

New studio Dream Zone announced its launch title: Roseanne XXX, directed by Jim Enright and starring BBW pornstar Kelly Shibari as Roseanne. Shooting will take place this weekend.

In the long run, New Sensations plans porn parodies based on The A-Team, Harry Potter, The Golden Girls, The Breakfast Club, 24, This is Spinal Tap, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Lost. … Hustler plans Tiger’s Nailin’ Palin plus parodies based on CSI, Glee, The Hills, The Soup, Curb Your Enthusiasm and I Dream of Jeannie. … Adam & Eve plans XXX parodies based on The A-Team and Home Improvement in 2010. … Vouyer just announced a Taxi porn parody project, with Ron Jeremy in the Danny DeVito role. … The PopPorn team of Brian Bangs, Spock Buckton and Mike Quasar announced plans for Not The Hangover a while back. … Last fall Axel Braun mentioned his desire to make The Godfather XXX and Grease XXX in 2010.

Raunchy teen sex comedy American Pie (released July 1999) has generated six sequels to date, if you count all the straight-to-video “presents …” flicks. It also generated a whole bunch of porn parodies, starting with American Hair Pie (released September 1999).

As you can probably guess, American Hair Pie celebrates good old-fashioned unshaven bushes. “Sometimes you just crave a good, thick, hairy pussy. Apple pie may be good, but hair pie is better! Cum and get a slice!”

Driving Ms. Daisy XXX

Driving Miss Daisy, the forgettable Oscar winner for Best Picture of 1989, got the porn parody treatment in 2003 with Driving Ms. Daisy. (Apparently “driving” is a porny enough word that they didn’t bother with a pun.)

The treacly, feel-good racial politics of the original makes way for steamy, feel-good interracial hardcore.

The Jessica Tandy role was played by pornstar Daisy Marie (billed here simply as “Daisy”). The Morgan Freeman chauffeur role was played by Tyler Knight, more recently seen in the porn parody world playing a certain promiscuous professional golfer.

American Beauty, the overrated Oscar winner for 1999, got a porn parody of sorts with American Booty, a loving tribute to curvy black asses from Afro-Centric.

The last few Oscar winners haven’t spawned many porn parodies. How would you make a porn version of Crash? Or The Departed? We would happily watch Fake Slumdog Millionaire XXX, if only someone would get around to making it.

Gladiator was probably the last Oscar best picture winner to make a big porn splash. Let’s face it, rebellious slaves in skimpy leather tunics are damn sexy. Private loved the concept so much, they made a whole XXX Gladiator trilogy as part of their Private Gold line.
