Space Nuts, directed by Jonathan Morgan and released by Wicked in 2006, has some rabid fans. One reviewer calls it “fucking hilarious … probably the funniest porn movie I’ve ever seen”. Another says it “very well may be the funniest adult movie ever made”.
The plot involves an evil imperial overlord fighting a scrappy band of rebels, while the beautiful Princess Hubba Hubba flees an arranged marriage. Space Nuts includes jokey allusions to Star Wars, Star Trek, 2001: A Space Odyssey, the Alien movies, Titanic, Gladiator and probably a few others I missed.
